This being my first baby/family shoot, I thought it best to implore
some higher power to:
1. Stay my hand from the contrast and structure sliders and actions I would normally use.
2. Help me remember that most of the images I would normally trash are of value to the family (yes, even the ones with eyes closed, etc.)
3. Help me remember that gritty, grungy, gnarled, cratered, etc. are not usually associated with infant photos.
4. Help me forget anything else I might think of when shooting out on the street.

This shot is derivative, in that it is much like "Bones Kah &his son Harley Davidson" by Rob Goebel (1975). It won an international Pictures of the Year prize in 1975; I have always
thought that a great photo.
