Thank you, Spc. Wyatt
I looked at the flag hung over the street on a fire dept. ladder, and thought "gee, that would be a great vantage point for a shot of the funeral procession." The man in charge was kind enough to let me climb up for a few minutes as the funeral passed. On the way, unbeknownst to me, the mode dial on my D7000 rubbed on something and all the shots were blown by at least 7 stops, making them unrecoverable. Now they're what we euphemistically call "Art prints."
Spc. Sterling Wyatt was killed in service overseas a few days ago. People from all over have come to show support for his family and friends on a day that reached over 100 deg. in a hot sun. A rally was held on Saturday, and a few thousand people in red shirts came to stand outside the church where his funeral was held.
The filth from westboro baptist church were there to smear the event with their vitreol and slander. There were so many bikers and red-shirted people there that wbc wasn't heard or seen by most.
The entire funeral was an example of what is great about America.
Thank you, Spc. Wyatt

From those of us that could not be there. Thank you!
I never heard from you about using your pictures in a book for Sterling Wyatt's funeral. As I said Miller Imaging is going to print it and they do a top notch job.
I don't know the family, but I just wanted to do something.
Your pictures are my favorites. I hope you will be part of this endeavor.
